Necessary preliminary work
Release screws from holder.
NOTE: The holder does not have to be removed to access the front screws on the airbag module.

Unfasten plug connection (2) and disconnect.
Release screw (1).
Swing control unit out of rubber mount and feed out.

Unlock PLUG CONNECTION (1) and disconnect.

Release all screws on airbag module.

Tightening torque 72 12 01AZ.
Remove airbag module from dashboard.

REMOVING AND INSTALLING OR REPLACING LEFT OR RIGHT HEAD AIRBAG
