BMW 7 Series: Removing And Installing/Renewing Heat Shield At Top (N63)
Necessary preliminary work
- Remove both INTAKE FILTER HOUSINGS.
- Remove both control sensors.
Release screws (1).
Lift out holder.

Release retaining clip (1).
Detach wire ring (2) and set down behind oxygen sensor.

Lift out heat shield.

Assemble engine.
