Integrated Chassis Management
Overview
With the E71, the notion of a higher-level driving dynamics control system
was implemented for the first time
in a standard model. This central function is also referred to as "Integrated
Chassis Management" ("ICM" for
short) and is integrated in the control
Tire pressure monitor- System limits
Temperature
The tire inflation pressure depends on the tire's
temperature.
Driving or exposure to the sun will increase the
tire's temperature, thus increasing the tire inflation
pressure.
The tire inflation pressure is reduced when the
tire temperature falls again.
