The signals which are triggered by the turn-indicator/high-beam switch
steering column stalk (1) or wiper
switch (3) are made available to the footwell module (4) or the junction box
electronics (6).
The button signals at the multifunction steering wheel (8) are directed through
the coil-spring assembly (9) to
the steering column switch cluster (2), where they are evaluated and then
transmitted across the FlexRay.

The Check Control system monitors functions in

General information
A Check Control message is displayed as a combination
of indicator or warning lights and text
messages in the instrument cluster and, if applicable,
in th
